Overview of contract:
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Junior Corporate Actions & Income Processing Specialist to manage corporate action events, including the creation, processing, and booking of these events..
Location: Zürich
Start date: October 2024
Duration: 6-12 months initially, with possibility of extension
Main responsibilities:
- Create, process, and book corporate action events, such as dividends, mergers, and stock splits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and distribute timely notifications to clients regarding corporate actions.
- Handle client instructions and ensure proper execution of cash and stock bookings.
- Perform accurate reconciliation of corporate action events and address any discrepancies.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve and remediate any corporate action-related issues.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in corporate action event processing and reconciliation within financial services.
- Understanding of securities markets and corporate reorganizations, such as mergers.
- Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, particularly MT56x Corporate Action messages.
- Exceptional English skills.
