IoT Equipment Data Analyst

Within the Business Unit Services & Performances (BUSP),
we are creating a new team of IoT equipment data analysts that will allow us to move further in the deployment of our vision and provide better service to our customers combining equipment data analysis, process and performance optimization.
The IoT Equipment Data Analyst is responsible for processing and analyzing data from IoT devices installed on various equipment and collected by BOBST Connect. This role involves analyzing trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions, optimize equipment performance, and reduce operational costs.
Key Responsibilities (to do)
Data Analysis and Visualization:
Collaboration and Customer’s interactions:
- Analyze data to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends related to equipment performance, usage, and maintenance.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Collaborate with Technical service support, Product line R&D, IoT scientists and developers, technicians to ensure seamless root causes analysis on identified deviations.
- Assist development to build the right algorithm/solutions
- Generate commercial leads based on data analysis.
Optimization:
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for Customers, outlining key findings and recommendations for action.
- Provide ongoing support for data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
Professional skills (to know):
- Continuously monitor and improve data analysis processes across the organization.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in BOBST IoT features and industry best practices (Operational excellence).
- Train & spread daily data use mindset in the organization.
- Support & develop regional key users.
Behaviors (to show):
- Good knowledge of Industrial equipment manufacturing, packaging equipment processes is a plus. Knowledge of BOBST equipment for Folding carton, corrugated board, flexible and label industries is a plus.
- Collaboration with field engineers and travel to sites where IoT-enabled equipment is deployed may be required.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in data analysis.
- Experience in Customer Technical support is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets.
- Familiar to program and configure data visualization tools such as Tableau, or similar.
- Entrepreneurship, Pro-Active & result oriented.
- Ability to understand our customers business and its opportunities for BOBST Connected services.
- Base knowledge around LLM and AI
Education and Experience:
- Interest in customer relationship and services promotion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to Customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong work ethics and values.
- Strong capacity to build bridges between different parties (Product lines, IoT, Customers, etc.).
- Structured way of working.

- Min. 5 years of technical professional experience in packaging equipment manufacturing industry
- English proficiency, French, other languages are a plus
- Good understanding of BOBST markets and dynamic
- Knowledge of databases and SQL requests.
