Data analytics plays a crucial role in understanding and improving our services. As a Business Analytics Intern, you will actively contribute to extracting, transforming, and visualizing data in Microsoft Power BI to uncovering meaningful insights into client lifecycle and business risk controls. Mission
You will be mentored by the Head of WM Business Risk Analytics located in our Zurich office with occasional travel to Geneva.
Challenges
Development of intelligent solutions to unsolved problems by extracting, transforming, aggregating data into insightful visualizations for management.
Main responsibilities
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data from various internal systems and processes
- Producing appealing and easy to understand visualizations for example, in R or Microsoft Power BI
- Creating and maintaining data models, databases, and central dashboards to support data-driven decision making
- Collecting and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that will support business growth or identify risks
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data insights

Technical skills:
Information Systems and Digital Innovation, or Business Analytics programs

SQL, PowerBI, DAX, Python, or R

- IT: SQL, Python, R Shiny and/or Microsoft Power BI
- Previous experience in banking or corporate business analytics is helpful
- Prior experience with machine learning strategies is desired
