- Sales Development: Proactively secure air cargo business through outreach, client visits, and virtual communications
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong connections with freight forwarders and logistics companies to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Market Expansion: Identify growth opportunities in industries with high cargo potential
- Profitability Focus: Negotiate rates and contracts to meet revenue and margin targets
- Collaboration: Partner with the Cargo Manager, sales colleagues, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional service
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on trends and competition to refine strategies and enhance service offerings
* Participate in other duties as assigned
The ideal Hybrid Sales Specialist should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
- 5–7 years in sales, with at least 3 years in the air cargo or logistics industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM tools
- Goal-oriented, solution-focused, adaptable to diverse cultures, and a collaborative team player
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Must possess a legal work permit in The U.S.
