Head of Value Chain Assets Controlling (with energy trading experience)
Our clients Business is done along the Value Chain, comprising three elements: Assets, Trading and Origination. The Head VC Assets Controlling is responsible for the controlling of their own production, as well as our asset trading and drives business decisions through comprehensive and transparent analysis and strong, independent, forward-looking sparring with the value chain Assets representatives. This role, which manages a team of more than 10 people, is to be based in either Olten or Lausanne and reports directly to the Head of Controlling.
- Participating, for Value Chain Assets, in the strategy development and its implementation
- Coordinating the discussions on economic performance and outlook for Value Chain Assets with all stakeholders, including the Executive Board Members
- Coordinating on Value Chain Assets level the overall planning, budgeting & forecasting and closing activities
- Together with the management team and Finance Business Partners identifying potential improvement areas and driving optimization action definition for Value Chain Assets
- Driving change
- Leading and motivating a team with complex and various responsibilities, while having an entrepreneurial mindset and strong strategic vision
- FHS or University degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling/Finance
- Several years of experience in the energy trading sector
- Strong analytical competencies and a highly structured way of thinking
- High awareness and focus on stakeholder management
- Open minded attitude and willingness to drive change and continuous improvement
- At least 5 years of previous people management experience
- Fluent English required

The ideal candidate for this role brings knowledge in the trading and energy sector. In addition, a strong leadership experience is required to lead the team with more than 10 FTE in different locations.
As a candidate you can either be based in Olten or in Lausanne.
