For our Global ICT team, we are currently looking for a motivated

Head of Global ICT (m/f/x)

The Head of Global ICT is a senior leader with a proven track record in the wider ICT area. She/he will be responsible for the entire information and technology supply to our businesses, all ICT processes, services, as well as infrastructure. She/he will assume leadership for a team of approximately 50 FTEs worldwide either via direct lines at the headquarters or dotted lines in the subsidiaries.

The jobholder will play a pivotal role in the design and realization of strategic initiatives such as data & analytics, process digitalization & automation, global CRM (CX), implementation of globally standardized business processes and solutions, as well as centralized master data management. By delivering critical information and technology solutions, she/he will play a key role in driving our global growth strategy.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning 

  • Responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive ICT strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives 
  • Create a strategic project portfolio and oversee major ICT projects 
  • Drive the digital transformation, helping the organization to adapt to new technologies and processes (e.g. RPA, Digital Workplace, Data Driven Decision Culture) 
  • Prepare and manage the ICT department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and according to strategic priorities 
  • Manage actual spendings and identify opportunities to reduce costs

ICT Operating Model

  • Enable lean business processes through globally standardized processes, solutions, data structures, as well as clearly defined roles and responsibilities 
  • Continuously improve the global ICT operating model and drive efficiency 
  • Improve and enforce global ICT policies and standards to ensure consistency, security, and compliance 
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, ensuring value for money

Service Development and Service Operations

  • Run and optimize datacenters, as well as backend and client infrastructure
  • Run efficient service desk and support
  • Continuously improve ICT security measures to avoid any potential impacts from attacks

People, Culture and Leadership 

  • Demonstrate ICT leadership standards through support of our culture, values, and behavioral expectations 
  • Serve as a thought leader while collaborating with business colleagues to achieve organizational objectives 
  • Nature a culture of organizational maturation and growth, valuing continuous improvement of business and ICT processes, effectiveness, and act as a strong business partner to various business units and global support functions 


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education in ICT (university degree)
  • More than 5 years of experience in a similar ICT leadership role, preferably in an international environment
  • Minimum 10 years working experience
  • Broad knowledge in ICT technology, architecture, and master data management
  • Ability to lead large, complex and transformational initiatives with multiple stakeholders and delivery partners
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus
  • Innovative and critical thinking that challenges the status quo with new ideas that create business value
  • High energy level and ability to interface effectively, productively and constructively with a diversity of colleagues, partners, stakeholders and collaborators
  • Experience in the fields Data & Analytics, Business Process Optimization & Automation, SAP ERP, and SAP CX
