As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing all technology operations and ensuring the alignment of IT strategy with our business objectives. You will lead a small team of IT professionals, manage technology projects, and ensure the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This is a key leadership role where you will work closely with senior management to drive innovation and support our client-focused approach. The successful candidate must be willing to contribute on all levels, from strategic and conceptual planning to daily operations.

You will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the bank's business goals and objectives.
• Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective technology investments.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and efficient.
• Lead and manage IT projects, including software development, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Cloud, Office 365, Azure, and security tools to enhance the bank's technological capabilities.
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Manage the organization's data and ensure it is used effectively to drive business decisions.
• Oversee data governance, data management, and data analytics.
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and effective data usage across the organization.
• Coordinate with other departments to identify and address their technology needs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities for IT staff.

Your skills: 

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in cybersecurity practices and technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Cloud, Office 365, Azure, and security tools.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects to successful completion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and other departments.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
• Experience with core banking systems, financial software, and IT infrastructure management.
• Willingness to contribute at all levels, from strategic planning to daily operations.
• Expertise in Azure Cloud (Paas/IaaS), Microsoft O365 suite, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft security tools and in the area of digitalization
• Broad general knowledge of technologies and trends, with the ability to assess their impact on business operations
