About the Role
To fuel the growth objective of Barry Callebaut, we are looking for a Global Brand Manager who will fully exploit and leverage the strategic category portfolio across different customers, markets, segments and applications.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support the setting of overall global marketing strategy and standards / policies to drive global brand equity and positioning incl. KPIs
- Create branded marketing communications plan, content and lead generation for your area of responsibility
- Determine the optimal product portfolio and product mix for our customers (i.e. price, packaging, place, promotion), and craft compelling USPs for the range to differentiate from competition
- Manage the innovation line-up for and co-lead new product development with the R&D team to create new generation of commercially relevant, sustainable chocolate/cocoa experiences in this category
- Work closely with commercial teams to define route-to-market strategies for innovations and drive brilliant execution of global launches.
- Establish strong understanding on various customer segments and the customer journey, coming up with marketing initiative plans (both offline + online) to grow the customer base across different markets and channels.
- Develop campaign ideas and relevant brand activation assets in conjunction with the Global Brand Director and the Regions; ready made for market’s deployment, ensuring the right message and branding is delivered in a consistent manner across the globe
- Monitor market trends/competitors, uncover new insights and translate them into actionable ideas/concepts to fuel innovation funnel.
- Analyze relevant financials for the portfolio (sales volume, margin, and forecast) and create strategies for portfolio growth across different markets and channels to deliver impact for the business.
- Drive Marketing Initiatives based on Global Marketing Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Measure Framework
- Work in an agile project environment
About You:
- Degree in Marketing/Communications
- Min 6-10 years of B2C/B2B marketing experience, preferably in a brand development function
- Possess the marketing know-how to translate consumer and market understanding into portfolio strategies
- Has extensive experience in handling creative and market research agencies
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- A good presenter, able to deliver strong and convincing marketing plans for commercial buy-in
- Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
