Position Summary

The Flight Engineer (Gulfstream G650) is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, airworthiness, and safety of the aircraft, particularly in high-pressure environments such as AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations. The role requires extensive interaction with aircraft crews, OEMs, MROs, and owner representatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing line maintenance, troubleshooting, and rectifying defects, along with managing and coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. This position demands 24/7 availability, international travel, and the flexibility to adapt to dynamic mission schedules and is based in Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities

- Aircraft Liaison: Liaise with aircraft crews, OEMs, MROs, and owner representatives on all airworthiness and operational matters.
- Line Maintenance: Perform line maintenance tasks, pre/post-flight checks, and defect rectifications on the aircraft.
- AOG Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects during AOG situations, under time constraints, and with customer/pax pressure.
- Scheduled/Unscheduled Maintenance: Arrange and coordinate maintenance activities with support from CAMO.
- Compliance Oversight: Conduct AD (Airworthiness Directives) and SB (Service Bulletin) reviews as directed by the Technical Services team.
- Process Improvements: Identify and enact improvements to maintenance processes and operational procedures.
- Regulatory Assistance: Assist with C of A (Certificate of Airworthiness) renewals, and applications for airworthiness and operational requirements.
- Aircraft Sale/Transfer: Aid in processes relating to aircraft sales, transfer, and associated documentation.
- Invoice Management: Review and approve maintenance and operational invoices related to aircraft services.
- Safety & Training: Monitor aircraft safety equipment and documents for condition and validity; identify training requirements for staff.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external service providers, MROs, OEMs, and National Authorities for operational requirements.
- VVIP Liaison: Maintain a professional, presentable, and customer-facing demeanor for VVIP missions.
- Mission Accompaniment: Accompany the aircraft on missions, with the ability to stay with the aircraft for long durations (7-8 weeks).
- Schedule Flexibility: Be available on short notice for mission dispatches and flexible in adapting to unknown or changing schedules.
- 24/7 On-Call: Remain on call for aircraft-related requests and dispatch readiness 365 days a year.
