Conducting reviews of client relationships and investigations of unusual transactions in the context of legal requirements on reporting to authorities, particularly the Swiss Financial Intelligence Unit MROS and FINMA
Supporting the group-wide analysis of trends and patterns based on suspicious transaction reporting (STR) in Switzerland and abroad
Enforcement of anti-money laundering (AML) standards and assessment of unusual transactions as well as incorporation of the internal body according to FINMA Money Laundering Ordinance
Acting as Subject Matter Expert (competence centre) in the area of Financial Intelligence and point of escalation for potential filing of a STR for internal and external contacts
Coordination and cooperation within the Bank’s CRO function, with other functions (Front Office, Operations, Audit, among others) in 1st and 3rd line of defence, and domestic and foreign group affiliates
Enhancement of case management and reporting capacity and capabilities in the area of Financial Intelligence within the banking group
Compliance with external and internal regulations to actively manage operational, regulatory and reputational risks
Assessment of risks of the Bank’s business activities in the context of global FCC periodic or ad-hoc risk assessment including initiating and monitoring of measures and action plans
Provision of advisory and consultancy services to senior management as well as employees in the implementation and supervision of FCC issues
Supporting the Bank in training and raising awareness in matters of FCCCommunication of material changes in the assessment of FCC risks to management, identification of material cases of non-compliance and supporting management in the choice of instructions and appropriate counter-measure
University degree or equivalent, postgraduate studies in Financial Compliance management a plus
5+ years of experience in the financial industry in Compliance, particularly FCC, or Risk Management/Audit or Prosecution
Experience as a FCC/AML Reporting Officer or Investigator or similar
Knowledge of global threat development, trends and typologies in the area of FCC as well as legal and regulatory requirements
Ability to work independently, under pressure and communicate challenging opinions and decisions
Very strong analytical skills, solution-oriented as well as decision-making ability
Strong personality with good organizational and operational skills
Professional language knowledge in German and English (written proficiency); other languages a plus
