Job overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician with experience in wearable devices to join our dynamic team based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. As a member of our development and testing team, you will work closely with engineers to ensure the reliability and functionality of our cutting-edge product, contributing to all stages of the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Test and validation: help SW team to conduct integration and unit tests for firmware and hardware validation.
- Bluetooth communication: help SW team to perform testing and troubleshooting of Bluetooth communication between wearable devices and external systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
- PCBAs testing: carry out comprehensive tests on PCBAs, ensuring compliance with design and operational specifications.
- Returns inspection: inspect and diagnose returned products to identify failures or defects, and work with the team to provide repair solutions.
- Quality assurance: ensure that all processes and tests are carried out in accordance with ISO-regulated standards, maintaining rigorous quality control across all stages of the production and testing process.
- Educational background: technician ES diploma, technical certificate, or relevant vocational training in Electronics or a related field.
- Hands-on experience: experience in working with miniaturized devices, particularly with electronic design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Programming and testing: familiarity with executing tests using Google Test and Python scripts, particularly for hardware validation would be a plus.
- Bluetooth experience: understanding Bluetooth communication protocols.
- Attention to detail: demonstrates a rigorous approach in testing and inspecting electronics to ensure top quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronics in a methodical and efficient manner.
Ideal but not required
- ISO experience: previous experience working in an ISO-regulated environment with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
