Research & Development delivers hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people, hearing care professionals, and further related people, in the form of hearing devices, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.

With this 6 month internship, you will have the chance to get valuable insight into our research and development process. This role offers an opportunity to design, develop and work with algorithms and perform data analysis, while also gaining experience in the medical technology industry.

Your tasks

• Contribution to the improvement and retraining of an algorithm for the accurate acquisition and analysis of accelerometer data
• Comparison of the data obtained by the algorithm with data in different formats from reference systems (including motion capture, foot-mounted IMU sensors, and video capture)

Your profile

• Education in the area of Digital Signal Processing and Analysis
• Experience in data processing and analysis of extensive time series data
• Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, experience with MS Office. Experience in R will be a plus
• Knowledge of video/image processing is nice-to-have
• Strong problem solving skills and interest in sensor systems and algorithm development
• Fluent English, German knowledge is a plus
