An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available at Givaudan's Zurich Site for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager (m/f/d) with validated experience in continuous improvement. This is a fantastic career opportunity for a dynamic, autonomous, continuous improvement minded and change agile professional to embrace a team base culture and more specifically within the operations team within a world-class manufacturing environment.
You will manage the definition, strategic planning and execution of Site's Continuous Improvement strategy. You will be an important player for our sustainable plant performance and support multiple Departments regarding operational excellence and collaborate internationally across boundaries.
You will be based in Dübendorf and report directly to the Head of Operations.
You will:
- Lead the Continuous Improvement (CI) journey of our site and provide support in all CI relevant plans
- Coordinate the strategic site roadmap linked to the business strategy cycle (leading the Site Strategy Deployment) as a supporting function to the Head of Operations
- Strengthen the capability of our people through constant training and skill development programs
- Lead impactful projects and support the organization to stay on track with our CI maturity assessment index.
- Manage stakeholders inside the plants and on European level as part of a regional CI network.
- Identify savings opportunities, engage and support with the relevant Projectmanagers, ensure accurate reporting of all savings projects
- Establish performance management for the entire site
You have:
- University Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g .Engineering, Natural Sciences, Food Science)
- High portion for business intelligence
- 3+ years of experience leading projects and people, supported by relevant training in the field of leadership
- Professional experience within LEAN and Continuous Improvement
- Expert in LEAN methodologies, Black Belt an advantage
- Passionate about solving challenges
- Expert in communication on different levels
- Used to take promptly decisions based on facts om complex situations
- Hands-on and desire for continuous improvement
- Business Fluent in German and English
