Within Strategy and Transactions, our Transaction Strategy and Execution (TS&E) team of EY Parthenon provides a full range of operationally focused services including M&A Integration, Carve-Out, Operational and IT Due Diligence and Operational Restructuring. Transaction Strategy and Execution works with cross-functional teams made up of members of both the acquiring and acquired organizations.
Our team is a dedicated group of around 50 professionals in this specialist service offering. Each draws upon their unique operational, IT and technical skills to support both private equity and corporate clients, spanning a wide range of industries.

- In your role as Consultant, you will work on integrations, carve-outs, corporate restructuring and other types of M&A transactional engagements in project teams directly with our clients
- You will be exposed to a variety of industries (e.g. lifescience, automotive, industrial products, etc.) and functional areas (e.g. finance, supply chain, HR, IT, legal, etc.)
- You will be working on a wide range of strategy and M&A transactions topics (e.g. exit readiness, synergy assessment, IT / operational due diligence, operating model design, integration blueprint design, legal entity setup, day 1 and 100 readiness, transitional service agreement (TSA), etc.)
- You will play a key role in gathering / analyzing information and communicating recommendations
- You will compile and present information verbally, visually and in writing
- You will implement and execute client recommendation in collaboration with the project teams to fulfill project goals
- You will help maintain professional relationship with our clients at appropriate levels
- You will help build an open and inclusive work environment
What you can contribute – skills for shaping the future
- A degree in business, engineering, computer science or related field
- At least 1-2 years of applicable industry and/or consulting experience
- Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional or extracurricular setting
- Sharp analytical thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Exceptional team player who is able to work with people at all levels in an organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing, in English and German. French is a strong plus
- Ability and willingness to travel
