Compliance Assurance Data Expert 80%-100%
Risk Insight & Assurance (RIA) is part of Group Compliance. We are responsible for the Group Compliance Assurance Framework and the related assurance applications. We lead thematic Compliance Assurance activities and draw consolidated insight from these. We also collect and provide insight from the data we generate from the local Compliance assurance work as well as data from other assurance providers connected to the Compliance Risk Universe. We focus on automation, data analytics and AI to future proof our ability to conduct assurance to the highest standards utilizing the newest technologies and be data driven in our assurance approach. To continue and accelerate this we are seeking a new member to our team. We are looking for an assurance data expert to join our Corporate Center Compliance team, based in Zurich. As a member of this team you will get face time with, and the ability to influence, people at all levels within the organization, interacting with team members throughout Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
What you will do
Contribute to the further enhancement of our assurance methodology ensuring further insight from data analytics, automations and AI solutions.
Take part in Group Led Assurance activities with focus on the data analytics and support the local and regional teams hereon.
Support the ongoing discussions with our colleagues in other assurance functions to drive further insights from the data lake.
Drive futher automations in our current processes.
Contributing to the Compliance Assurance Virtual Team in terms of professional skills, technical knowledge, energy and motivation
Develop a good understanding of Group Compliance Assurance principles based on established engagement standards and methodology
What you bring
IT skills such as data analytics using e.g., Excel, PowerBI or Python are required
Experience within complex organizations
Experience within automation
Knowledge of audit standards, principles of internal controls, processes, assessment and design of compliance testing would be beneficial.
Knowledge of industry assurance practices, plans and trends is a plus but the willingness to learn this part is a must.
Understanding of industry, key markets, participants, innovation drivers, business issues, standards and guidelines, regulatory environment and developments
Strong English language skills
Experience of financial services and/or insurance is a plus but the willingness to learn a new industry is key.
