Pharmalys Laboratories is a Swiss company specialized in infant nutrition through, distribution and promotion of premium infant formulas and baby food in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Pharmalys Laboratoires manufactures its products at two Swiss factories located in Sulgen and Lucerne and a factory located in Netherlands equipped with the latest technologies.

The Role

The Commercial Manager will collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams across the organization to deliver crucial outcomes, such as analyzing and optimizing commercial opportunities, assessing brand health, and expanding markets. We are looking for a skilled and motivated candidate to join our team, with a focus on the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, French, and Arabic, and possess strong analytical to enhance business performance and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• P&L modeling, including monthly reporting such as variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Logistics management and supply chain management
• Track and report key financial metrics and KPIs for the MENA region.
• Collaborate closely with finance and operational teams to construct accurate bid budgets and compelling financial proposals.
• Forecast future financial performance and trends based on historical data.
• Work closely with the commercial team in the MENA region to develop competitive pricing strategies and models through thorough analysis of market trends, competitor insights, payment mechanisms, and cost factors.
• Support the planning and evaluation of marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations) to assist with business development activities.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Conduct due diligence on prospective deals (KYC process and analysis).
• Contract negotiations and ensuring that contract terms protect the company’s interests, minimize risk, and promote revenue growth.
• Negotiation of credit terms with suppliers and distributors
• Support internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications :

• Swiss University Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting role in Switzerland.
• Fluency in in English, French and Arabic is mandatory.
• Experience of a tight control environment dealing with internal and external auditing.
• Comprehensive Knowledge with Client Relationship and financial analysis with a keen understanding of the MENA region.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
