Position Summary:

Matterhorn Global Holding is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial and Operating Officer to oversee its financial and operational strategy. This crucial role requires expertise in crisis management, process optimization, and technological project management and innovation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a complex, multicultural environment and possess the strategic vision necessary to support the growth of the family office.

Chief Financial and Operating Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement both short- and long-term financial plans to optimize profitability and overall performance. Oversee all financial operations, including budget management, forecasting, and KPIs.

  • Operational Optimization: Coordinate daily operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with the organization’s high-performance standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in corporate governance.

  • Crisis Management and Restructuring: Serve as the primary leader for crisis management and restructuring initiatives. Develop innovative strategies and solutions to enhance the resilience and stability of the company in the face of unforeseen challenges.

  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with executive teams to set strategic priorities, define ambitious goals, and ensure that the company’s initiatives align with its growth ambitions.

  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain trusted relationships with internal and

    external partners. Be responsible for negotiating and managing international strategic

    partnerships.

  • Technological Project Development and Innovation: Lead high-potential technological

    projects, including the design and localization of products for specific markets. Collaborate with R&D teams, manage intellectual property (patents, trademarks), and coordinate efforts to ensure innovative projects meet the family office’s strategic needs.

Requirements:

  1. Education: MBA or equivalent in business administration, finance, or a related field, ideally from a reputable institution.

  2. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial and operational leadership roles, preferably within family offices or multinational companies. Proven expertise in crisis management, restructuring, and technology project management is highly desired.

  3. Language Skills: Proficiency in four essential languages:

- Classical Arabic: Native language, essential for interactions with partners in the Middle East.

- English: Fluent, essential for international communication and global project coordination.

- French: Fluent, required for professional interactions in Geneva.

- Spanish: Basic level, an asset for projects in Spanish-speaking markets.

4. Technical and Strategic Skills:

- Expertise in strategic planning and execution of transformation projects.
- Demonstrated skills in managing multi-year budgets and performance analysis to maximize operational efficiency.

- Experience in negotiating international contracts and developing partnerships, with astrong understanding of legal and contractual issues.

5. Additional Qualifications:

- Diverse Sector Experience: Deep knowledge of financial services, hospitality, and food services, combined with a strategic vision for market development.

- Multicultural Leadership and Strategic Influence: Ability to lead multicultural teams and positively influence stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

- Results Orientation and Innovation Management: Proven capacity to lead innovation projects, turning challenges into growth opportunities while optimizing operational processes.
