Finance Associate Director BP&A Global Business Services
This is a key role responsible for partnering with Global Business Services Leadership to provide direct financial insight and recommendations to enable balanced strategic planning and execution. The leader works collaboratively with other finance BU/Region team and cross-functional partners. The role will be responsible for supporting strategic decision making through timely delivery of insights, analyses and recommendations based on facts and data.
Finance business partner for global business services organization supporting functional leader in forecasting/analysis of global operating/capital budgets
Manage all aspects of the financial management cycle for the Global Business Services organization. Drive the financial planning activities to support the global functional forecasting, tracking and reporting of special projects and investments.
Lead the development of key financial deliverables ASR, budget, projection and capital expenditure planning activities
Prepare presentations and ad-hoc analysis is support of senior management reviews.
Analyze actual results, external trends and large datasets to provide insight to leadership
Manage the financial models and analyses development in support of global functional leadership, cost center owner and regional financial leadership
Support, monitor and report relevant global functional metrics (e.g., headcount, regional budgets/results, vendor spend, mix of spend)
Report on variances, headcount and full year financial trajectory
Partner effectively with internal customers to support the function as necessary
Lead development of cross charge methodology, including legal entity set-up and tax considerations
Partner across finance to ensure alignment on business project spend, tracking and provide transparency around cross charges
Provide support as necessary for acquisition and/or divestiture related activities (including tracking of integration related investments)
Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- Minimum 7 years’ experience of financial analysis and business partnering
- Experience developing/influencing teams
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Experience driving/development of efficient charge-out financial models
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, BPC and SAP is critical
- PowerPoint presentation skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment; strong attention to detail
- Effectively work across global financial organization
- CPA, MBA or GBS certification is a plus
