Application Engineer - Oracle - vacancy requiring profound Energy Trade Support knowledge for our Solothurn based client in the Energy sector.
Your tasks:
- Acting as a technical specialist, discussing requirements and implementing solutions with the internal development team
- Supporting end users by analyzing and resolving open issues, including participation in on-call duties
- Coordinating application integration with the internal integration team
- Ensuring that applications meet stakeholder needs in terms of functionality, reliability, compliance, and scalability
- Contributing to relevant projects and ensure alignment with business and IT strategies
- Staying updated on IT best practices and continuously improve methodologies, processes, and tools
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience in an agile IT/technology environment
- Strong business and technical expertise
- Proficiency in database technologies, particularly Oracle and PL/SQL, with programming and scripting skills
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Technology and the energy sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, knowledge of German and French is an advantage
