As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will be part of the Finance team. With your experience in accounting and with your passion for quality you will support the Swiss Rockets group with a reliable Accounts Payable management for all its companies.
Job responsibilities:
- Book supplier invoices into our accounting software Abacus
- Follow up with the internal approval process
- Prepare payment runs and forward with ebics to the banks
- Reconcile bank accounts with the accounting
- Respond to requests/confirmations regarding payments to vendors
- Manage Inter-Company invoices
- Perform monthly closing activities
- Prepare VAT declarations
- Drive improvements of the accounts payable management and the use of Abacus
- Support other departments with information from the accounting
- Contribute finance information to company projects
- Substitute other members of the Finance team during their absences
Candidate's requirements:
- A diploma (KV or Handelsschule) plus further training in accounting
- Minimum 3 years experience in (accounts payable) accounting
- An indebt understanding how Abacus and ebics work
- A very good knowhow of MS office, especially Excel
- Structured and analytical way of working
- Ability to work independently and to set priorities
- Commitment to keep the books up to date
- High level of flexibility to adapt to quickly changing environments
- Stress resistance
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- German and English are a must, other languages a plus
