Electrical Engineer

That is why we work to develop the smallest and most affordable brain PET system - combining cutting-edge medical imaging technology with simplicity to enable clinicians in the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer, who will drive the development of our electrical designs in NeuroLF - our upcoming clinical Positron Emission Tomography system. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and testing of electronic circuits and systems in our nuclear medical imaging devices. You help build complex medical products while ensuring high quality, reliability, safety for patients, and maintainability.

Development of electronic system solutions for nuclear medical devices, comprising light detection sensors, high-speed networking interfaces (Ethernet), FPGA data acquisition and processing, power / bias supply & distribution, fast signal routing, serial interfaces.

• Design, simulation, implementation, and verification of digital circuits on Xilinx FPGA/SoC (VHDL, embedded C/C++)
• Multilayer PCB design & development (experience with Altium Designer is preferred) for EMC
• Assembly, testing and troubleshooting of parts and final products in laboratory (use of oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyser, etc.)
• Collaboration with suppliers & manufacturers
• Technical design, development, and documentation in accordance with medical device regulations (IEC 60601, ISO 13485, IEC 62304)

• 5+ years experience
• Master degree or higher
• Experience in regulated industry is a plus
