Our platform development for hardware & software is located in Zurich and machines are developed in both Germany and Switzerland. Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the PLM System in collaboration with the PLM central team from Bologna, across Hapa and Atlantic Zeiser for life cycle management of machines, assemblies, mechanical and electrical parts. This work involves:
  • Conduct and coordinate from 1st to 3rd level support for end users of the PLM system, via IT Ticket Management Tool
  • Improvement of the functionality and useability at Hapa
  • Implementation of the PLM tool at Atlantic Zeiser
  • Definition and implementation of Interfaces to SAP, JIRA and other business softwareRoll out a repository tool and deployment workflow in coordination with all software teams (Application, Embedded & PLC) at Hapa and software teams (Software & PLC) at Atlantic Zeiser to:
    • Improve collaboration possibilities between the teams as well as with external developers
    • Reduce the time of generating Release Notes for software
    • Improve the accessibility and security standard for the software repositories
    • Establish a build and deployment automation workflow that is connected with project & release management JIRA and the Windchill PLM
    • Implement a deployment environment where software prototypes and software architecture with complicated Infrastructure can be tested in a flexible yet secure way
    • Implement simple interfaces and coordinate with external developers the interface required between different engineering applications such as Development Environments, PLMs, Task Mgmt. as well as with other business applications such as ERP and CRM

What You Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology/computer science/engineering
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the customization and deployment of engineering applications either for software, hardware or machine products
• Experience with interface development between business/engineering applications
• Basic software development experience with Java and XML / JSON interfaces
• Network and system administration experience
• Willingness to travel to the companies in the cluster, mainly between Hapa (Zurich), Atlantic Zeiser (Germany) and Amaco (Austria) and to other Coesia companies/customers mainly in Europe and North America
• Experience with any PLM tool is considered as a plus, PTC Windchill would be optimal
• Experience with agile development methodologies is considered as a plus
• Experience with JIRA is considered as a plus
• English proficiency
• German proficiency
